Back Home

We had planned to go to Utah for two weeks at the end of July, well two weeks turned into three when Alan had to go to California for work and we decided to just stay instead of go home. We had such a good time and for my kids it was as good as any other summer vacation would have been. We got to do lots of fun stuff and see lots of people. With Sammy starting school this will probably become more of a norm, since we will have less freedom to go during the school year.
Here are a few of the picture I have from the trip.

We went down and had a water day at Grandma Jacki's

The night we got there we went to the days of 47 Rodeo, Thanks to Heidi for the tickets.

Heidi and Clark at the Rodeo

Grandpa, Daddy, weird Lizzie and Heidi at the Rodeo

Temple Square

We welcomed grandma home from Atlanta

Clark and Cafe at Raging Waters

Clark, Emma, Sam and Grandpa at Riley's B-day party up the canyon

Playing with Jacob

Clark and Cade at Discovery gateway

Lizzie at Discovery Gateway

Not pictured was the 24th of July Parade, Riley's baptism ( Sammy said “that was awesome" which I thought was so cute), Riley's birthday party at the pool and Lagoon(which I am going to post about separate.)The kids spent a lot of time just playing with their cousins which is truthfully Sam's favorite part about going to Utah. I also got to see a few of my friends and meet up for dinner with my cousins who are both moving away:(  And of course we watched ALOT of Olympics, which may or may not have kept my mom and I up to all hours of the night most days(thank goodness for kids that sleep in).  Alan came and went a few times, which was hard on the kids.
A few noteworthy things that happened while we were there, Clark got really sick for a few days which included a high fever and throw up:( Lizzie got stung by a bee for the first time (relived she is not allergic), I turned 29 and was able to have a afternoon and evening with just Alan. Thanks to my parents who were so happy to have us move in with them for 3 weeks we had so much fun and even though we were pretty excited to get home we miss everyone so much.
